"I didn't get to eat while there. However, the coffee was delicious and about half the price that a normal coffee shop would cost. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the conversation with my new friends who attend the church. Aaaannnd BONUS.. They were so kind and God fearing and laid hands on me and prayed for me. It doesn't get much better than when God's people come together cause The Holy Spirit is there! Anyways, it was absolutely a wonderful piece of my day, and I will be going back soon for sure!"

"For a small town, Ava has a few different coffee shop choices from food truck to modern to quaint. Common Grounds is the latter. Settled beneath the Full Gospel church is a coffee shop that has a, dare I say regarding a church coffee shop, pub feel. Low beams, dimly lit, tables and booths as well as a fireplace. They serve coffee drinks named after local interests such as The Glade Top and The Foxtrotter. My wife loves The Foxtrotter the best. There are prepackaged muffins and danishes as well as the occasional homemade treats which are always delicious. Rod and his wife Deanna(sp?) run the shop along with volunteers. The music is Christian and at a low volume. It's my family's favorite coffee shop in town."
